Batch any cocktail. Get the dilution right.

A shaken or stirred single picks up water from the ice. A batch poured from a bottle or pitcher does not, so multiplying a single-drink recipe by the guest count produces a drink that is too strong and out of balance.

Pourcent batch screen: a Daiquiri recipe selected, batch size set to 4 bottles of 750 ml at a 3 oz serving, and a stirred target-dilution control.

A batch is not a single-drink recipe times ten.

Batching needs a dilution calculation beyond scaling the recipe: how much water to add before serving. Without that number, a batch can be too strong, over-diluted by melt, or out of balance.

Pourcent calculates the dilution water that helps a party batch taste like a freshly made single.

Scale the recipe, add dilution water, and check the final ABV.

  1. Start from a recipe.

Pick a Negroni, Manhattan, Daiquiri, Margarita, or Old Fashioned template, or build a custom spec with parts, ml, oz, or jigger and ABV.

  2. Choose the drink family.

Select stirred, shaken citrus, built or highball, or punch. Each family sets a sensible default dilution.

  3. Size the batch.

Set the batch by servings, 750 ml bottles, or total base volume.

  4. Read the batch.

See every ingredient scaled, the water to pre-batch in, and the estimated final ABV.

How the batch calculation works.

Dilution from final volume.

Pourcent uses the target dilution to calculate the water to add and estimate final ABV.

Saved batches stay local.

Saved batches, notes, reuse, copy-as-new, and share text stay on your device.

Pourcent questions.

How does Pourcent calculate the dilution water for a batch?

Pourcent uses the final-volume method: finalVolume = baseVolume / (1 - dilutionFraction). It calculates the finished volume and the water to add, then shows the scaled ingredients and estimated final ABV.

Can I size a batch by servings, bottles, or total volume?

Yes. Choose servings, 750 ml bottles, or total base volume. Pourcent scales each ingredient and includes the dilution water in the result.

Does Pourcent handle stirred, shaken, highball, and punch drinks?

Yes. Choose stirred, shaken citrus, built or highball, or punch. Each family supplies the default dilution used for the batch calculation.

Does Pourcent estimate the final ABV?

Yes. Pourcent estimates the finished recipe's ABV after scaling the ingredients and adding dilution water.

Is Pourcent a subscription?

No. Pourcent is planned as a $2.99 one-time purchase for iPhone, with no subscription or in-app gates.

Does Pourcent estimate impairment or blood-alcohol content?

No. Pourcent does not estimate impairment, blood-alcohol content, or driving readiness. A responsible-hosting disclaimer remains visible in the app. Use Pourcent for recipe planning, not safety decisions.
